All our coaching is designed to meet individual needs, which is why we are able to work with a variety of athletes and help athletes at all ability levels from beginners to elite/professionals. All we ask is that you are committed to working hard to meet your goals and we will work just as hard to help you.

We work with cyclists and runners competing in road and off-road events. Here are some examples of people we have helped:

  • Jenny Graham - Guinness Round the World Record Holder: we helped Jenny in her preparation for breaking the round the world record in 2018. Before that we helped her train for the 2017 Arizona 750 (equal first female) and HT550 (1st female). You can read what Jenny has to say about us here.

  • Karen Darke - Paralympic Gold medalist in Rio 2016, Silver medalist in London 2012. We have worked with Karen for many years and we continue to work together in preparation for the Paralympics in Tokyo in 2020. You can read what Karen has to say about us here.

  • Karen Tostee - Transcontinental Race 2017, 3rd female; Transatlantic Way Race 2018, 1st female. Road Race Category 2 in her first season (2018). Karen and Jenny were two of the first people we worked with in preparation for self-supported ultra-endurance events, something we are now becoming quite experienced in.   • We have worked with several mountain runners and trail runners competing at international level as well as many people who are just getting started in the sport. Before leaving the UK, Clare finished 10th in the McCain British Mountain Running series whilst working with John as her coach.

  • We work with a range of runners training for short and longer events from 10km to ultra-distance events. Some of these athletes train with power meters and we are very familiar with the concepts of training and racing with running power meters.

  • Having worked with cycling power meters since 2010, we are very experienced in analysing and understanding power data, comparing it with physiological and subjective data to optimise training and help athletes get the most out of themselves. Some of our athletes have power meters but others use gym bikes for a very cost effective method of training with power. We work with cyclists competing on and off road.

  • Off road cycling, we have coached a regional mountain bike champion as well as athletes competing in cyclocross.
