Camps

An opportunity to train and learn together with like minded, motivated people of all standards. Our camps are designed to cater for all standards because we feel that everyone can learn from others and having a mixed ability range brings unique mixes of skills and knowledge to every camp. The focus is on getting what you need from your time here. We work with you before you arrive so that we can all prepare properly, therefore giving you the best chance of meeting your goals.

Our camps are based in Prades in the foothills of the French Pyrenees Orientales, near where we live so we know the area well. Prades is warm for most of the year and very hot in summer so we avoid the summer months. There are options for road, gravel and mountain biking on flat and hilly terrain to suit all abilities. The small town of Prades has plenty of amenities and cafes where you can chill out and chat when you are not riding. We run our camps from October to April so watch this space for details of the next one, or get in touch and visit us for a more informal and personal experience.

Self led with our help

Our camps are self led, in that the onus is on you to have a plan and be responsible for yourself. This may seem unusual but it works. We work with you before the camp to make sure that everything is in place before you arrive and we are here to help throughout your stay.

Workshops

Most evenings we run facilitated workshops where one of our team leads a workshop specific for each group. This is an opportunity to learn from us and from each other.

It isn’t all hard work, we usually have refreshments available and depending on the group, prepare a meal for afterwards.

One to ones

During the day we run one to one sessions where you can take the learning from the workshops or anything else you are interested in and develop your knowledge as it relates to you.

One to ones can include

  • Training data analysis

  • Lifestyle assessment and coaching

  • Mental skills (can be reinforced by sports hypnosis)

  • Sport massage and biomechanics assessments

  • Running or cycling skills sessions
